Pork Cutlet
These are delicious and fork tender. It only took 1 pork cutlet to feed me and my son because it was so large. I first tore it into 3 smaller pieces. Floured it which also had salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a little sage. I heated my skillet with olive oil, then browned cutlets on both sides. Remove from pan. Then I deglaze skillet with white wine. Once the pan was deglazed, I added 2 cups of water and 1 package of dry Lipton Oil Soup mix, stir to dissolve. Once it reached a low boil, I mixed a little corn starch and water to add to the Lipton Onion soup to make a gravy. Then add the browned pork cutlets back to the skillet. Spoon the gravy over top, then simmer with lid on for about 30 minutes. (Optional: About 5 minutes before serving, I added about 1/2 cup white wine for extra flavor.) Served this with rice and peas. (The rice is so good to add a little gravy over it!) Delicious!
