Best Stay Ever
I am a huge fan of Mike’s You Tube Channel and also a Harvest Host member. I tried to plan a stay here last year, but was not able to get to Wyoming. This year we were able to make it. Arrived at the Farm Store and were met by Ranch Hand Jeff. He lead us to our site and got us settled. The site was very level and it was an easy setup. We talked to Jeff for about 20 minutes. The next day we met Jeff and Mike at the barn for our ranch tour. We were also joined by Grace who was helping her dad with the tour. Got educated on the ranch life and a lot of what goes on at the ranch. My wife got to help feed the bottle calves and visit with the goats. Also leaned a lot about Erin’s “Edible Prairie Project”. We then made a visit to the Farm Store, where we purchase some beef, pork and other items. BTW the beef and pork were great. I would highly recommend a visit to this host if you can. All in all a great visit to the ranch.
Wonderful Place to Stay
We were fortunate to stay here for one night. Beautiful views and excellent hosts. Jeff was awesome. He met us and directed us to our camping spot. Loved the Market Store. Nothing better than farm to table than this. Reasonably price meats, vegetables and the awesome baked goods. We had the Blueberry Coffeecake it is so yummy.
We opted to take the morning tour of the farm and it didn’t disappoint. My dog even got his first kiss from a cow. Highly recommend to learn the operation of the farm, about the animals and the fabulous non-profit that has been developed and how it serves the community.
We will stop here again the next time we are in the area.
