Yes, they are fatty, but I will slow cook them for 4 hours, like beef tongue, and then smoke them. This reduces the fat you consume. Nice and meaty! This review is for short ribs, not any other beef and is n0t a double-posted rating!

I found this to be very fatty. There seemed to be more fat than meat once I smoked it. I will try again just to see if this was a one off cut.
